Morgan McKell // FounderBuilt From A Desk In The Gate City.
Figuring out what is happening in Pocatello business in any given week takes eleven open tabs and a lot of patience. The Chamber calendar. Historic Downtown. The Journal. Eventbrite. A few Facebook groups you forgot you joined. And you still miss things.
I have been building and advising businesses here for over a decade. I founded a brick and mortar tech company and scaled it to 14 locations across three states, then built and sold a marketing agency in 2023. Now I run Strategy Zoo from downtown Pocatello, host the East Idaho Mastermind on Monday mornings, and serve as Senior Community Director at Connect Idaho. The Signal is the resource I wished existed. One page, every business event, curated every Friday. It is free because an owner should not have to work this hard to know what is happening in their own town.
